About Ralph Smith
Ralph Smith is the Founder and CEO of Global Solutions Consulting, a premier cybersecurity firm recognized for its excellence in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, and Vulnerability Threat Management. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Smith has led the company to become a trusted partner for both commercial and federal clients, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Census Bureau, and Department of Commerce.
Since founding the company in 2005, Mr. Smith has combined deep technical expertise with visionary leadership, driving innovation, customer satisfaction, and consistent growth. His background spans key roles such as Program Manager and Security Architect, and his early career as a Telecom Engineer showcases his long-standing commitment to technological excellence.
Under his leadership, Global Solutions Consulting has achieved national recognition, including selection for the AWS Accelerator program. Mr. Smith is a respected thought leader in cybersecurity, regularly speaking at industry conferences and contributing to major publications.
Beyond his work at Global Solutions Consulting, Mr. Smith is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. He is an Entrepreneur in Residence at George Mason University and supports initiatives to bring 1 million Black and Brown individuals into the cybersecurity field. He also serves on the boards of College Track and a private elementary school.
Ralph holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Howard University and resides in the Washington, D.C. area with his wife and three children.
